Just curious why are you asking an RV forum for advice about whole house generators? Re: DIY LiFePO4 build Interesting, you learn someti99ng new every day. Re: DIY LiFePO4 build Looks good great job so far. I doubt I would paint the boxes as they are inside an interior cabinet. Do you mind expanding on the compression of the cells? Is the compression just to keep them from moving around in the box? Or is there a engineering advantage to putting pressure on the cell cases? Re: My generator is not working Hi Mubashir we can definitely help you but as you can see above we need more information. Also for us to help you, you will need some basic tools like a flat head and a phillips screwdriver a basic socket set, maybe some pliers and a willingness to take the generator apart. If you're not comfortable with that then there are only a few options. Take it to somebody who can fix it. (small engine or even a lawn mower repair shop) or a Honda dealer. These small generators are very susceptible to the carburetor getting gummed up if the generator sits unused for a few weeks. Once you get it fixed and running you need to either drain the carburetor when the generator is going to sit; Or you need to add a gasoline stabilizer or Seafoam to the fuel tank and run the generator for about 5 minutes to circulate it through. Here's a link to what is involved on a EU2000i Honda. Not the same but probably similar enough to give you an idea what is involved in cleaning out the gummed up carburetor. Link And a different link on draining the fuel bowl and adding Seafoam Link 2 Re: How to clean rooftop a/c coils? In that case you probably need to get the center panel down and use some HVAC tape to seal the edges of the distribution box up. Use the $20 roll of HVAC tape in the heater and air conditioning aisle at Home Depot. This is silver stuff with an adhesive that you need to peel the plastic off of to stick it down. Here's one Youtube video that shows what I'm talking about. Link Re: How to clean rooftop a/c coils? Water should not get inside unless you have a roof leak of some kind. Are you getting reduced airflow inside or is the airflow good but just not as cold? If reduced airflow inside you probably have a filter that's plugged up behind that decorative panel. Re: How much cargo capacity do I need for TT? That's a lot of capacity, you won't have a problem. Well maybe if you want to bring your kids 100 gallon fish tank along you might push the limits. I think my trailer has about the same capacity, When my kids were young we would pack really full with unnecessary stuff. Like for a a weekend we would go to Costco and buy flats of soda and juices. And being lazy I would just pile 3 or 4 flats of sodas on the floor by the couch. At least two barbecues and whatever the kids wanted to bring. I never bothered to check the weights and now after 20 years the trailer is still going strong. Just load it with what you think you want and go camping. Re: 1999 Damon Intruder lost all power To expand on what way2roll is saying. A fully charged battery should read 12.7 volts though most people consider 12.65 to be full as well. But the alternator or battery charger will push it up to 14 volts during heavy charge and around 13.6 for normal charging. So the battery might read 14 volts for a while after a charge. But that's just a surface charge and should dissipate down to the 12.7 range after a few hours or overnight without charge. Re: 1999 Damon Intruder lost all power First thing I would check is are the battery cables tight at both ends. If you can move the battery clamp by hand on either the positive or negative post the connection is too loose and can cause this. Then check the other ends of the cables to see if they are tight. And if you are like my dad who would drive a nail between the post and clamp to tighten the connection you need to rethink that method. Re: Number of unread posts never changes on the community feed If it helps at all I find that the post "Android 8" tablet for navigation" is especially troublesome. Not sure why but it is definitely one that acts up.
