That makes sense. We love traveling with our off-road car in the garage. And when we're traveling without the car the garage makes a great mud room to bring our dogs in through. It's also a great guest room when other people join us.

Yes that's it. I need the large garage and want a short rig. Also don't want the rig in the living space

Is this the floorplan? It looks like you sacrifice a lot of kitchen/living space with that sized garage.

Yes this is it. Over 40' will not fit in our state parks- at least not most spots. We will also have living space in the rear with the Happijacs so shouldn't be an issue

What does the living space look like in a forty footer with a 14' garage? We've got a 45 footer with a 12' garage and it's hard to imagine slicing seven feet out of the living area.
Are you married to the notion of the dedicated garage space? Are you OK with an open plan?

Short rig with a big garage is a tall order! We are in a 45’ Jayco Seismic with a 13’ garage. Got a 2024 X3 XRC. Pulling with a 2016 Ram 3500 LB 4x4 dually with the HO Cummins. We love it! Pulls any high pass we have tried. Rig is comfy and roomy. We are long, and there is lots of places we can’t go. Okay by us, we prefer open BLM boondocking anyway. Good luck in your search!!
