Good morning everyone. Sue and I are still suffering from a cold, different from any we have ever had it just won't let go. The nights are cold but the day is in the mid 60's with lots of sunshine. We didn't go to church yesterday not wanting to spread our germs around. This coming Sunday I will be bringing the message in the morning service. I am going to preach on the Cross. I have been inspired by a song "Hide Me Behind The Cross." Often I have prayed from the pulpit that God would hide me behind the cross and to glorify himself through the preaching of the word, I never knew there was song of the same title until recently, After reading the lyrics It touched my heart and inspired me to preach on the subject.
Sue continues to be sick. I am in recovery, Suzie is in recovery while Dixie keeps going like a freight train heading South. Izzie has been upset with us for leaving him with Ava. I has cried and fussed since he has been home. He wants Sue to hold him in her lap and lay down with him by her side. Last night he came into our bedroom crying for attention until Sue got up and went into the family room and lay on the couch with him.
I hope all is well with everyone and your weather is turning into spring. Our tress are full of blooms and the Pine trees are getting ready to fill the air with yellow pollen. I noticed the yard grass is starting to grow again and it won't be long before I will be mowing the lawn.
