Good Morning FOOFs
I am ready to be done with tax season (I work at a CPA firm). It's been very busy and I am looking forward to the weekend. We are taking the Motorhome to Lazy Days resort for Friday and Saturday night. They have a shuttle that will take you to the Hard Rock casino that is just down the road. The wife likes to play the slots so she will have a good time while I will be grumpy and complain about losing money.
Monty's leg is still not right. He was basically back to normal and then went chasing after something a few weeks ago and was back to hopping around. He is now walking on the leg again but with a limp. Once he has been up and walking a bit, he seems OK but when he has been laying down for awhile and gets up, he limps for awhile. I don't know if I should take him back to the Dr. or not. When he had surgery on his other leg, the surgeon said to start walking him for 10 minutes at a time after 3 weeks. I have not been walking him so I think I will start walking him a little and see how that goes.
I broke the refrigerator travel latch on the motorhome by doing something stupid. I called the dealer to see if they could order me one and they said they would get it taken care of under warranty. I told them it was my fault and they said don't worry they would warranty it. They shipped me the latch yesterday and I opened the box to make sure it was the correct latch. It was, so I THOUGHT I put the latch back in the box. I took the box to the motorhome last night and proceeded to take off the old busted latch. Once I got the old latch off, I looked in the box and no new latch. My wife and I searched my truck and everywhere we can think of in the house. No latch. It's like I'm in the twilight zone. It has just disappeared.
I called Thor customer support this morning and told them my delima. I asked if I could order one and I would obviously pay for the part. I think the rep felt sorry for me as he said he would ship me another one no charge. I know it's a cheap part but I was very impressed with Thor that they would do this. I am really going to try hard not to lose this one! Now I have to figure out a way to secure the fridge doors so they don't open when I drive to Lazy Days tonight.
Richard I hope you and Sue get to feeling better. You guys have been sick quite some time and I know that really starts wearing on you.
I hope everyone has a great day.
