Good morning everyone. We had thunderstorms pass through in the wee hours of the morning, nothing bad just a rumble or two. North Carolina up around Asheville will get snow tonight and tomorrow morning.
Dan and Dan are planning on going to Asheville Friday so they will miss the snow fall but most likely will see snow on the ground when they get there.
Sue is doing much better and has a doctor's appointment tis morning, just pray she finds the help she needs. I had a relapse last night and needed to take some cold medicine before bed. Woke up this morning feeling better but tired.
The fur gang is doing okay, having eaten their breakfast and now waiting for a walk. North East Animal Shelter got some bad publicity from some disgruntled x employees on FB. North East Animal Shelter wrote a letter on FB stating that the accusations were false and no animals have been euthanized to give them a better bottom line in finances. Two have been euthanized this year because of aggressive behavior and only one last year. It's a sad thing to see an animal put down, but sometimes it becomes necessary because of illness or behavior. Glad to say Old Fella Rescue to my knowledge has never put down a dog for behavior problems but yes some have been put down because of health reasons.
I hope everyone is doing okay this morning. This is the first day of Spring, glad to see it come at last. I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
