Good morning everyone. Yesterday was a beautiful day. I worked outside on Sue's boxes and it was nice.
Sue and the girls are out for a walk, its 47 degrees outside this morning a bit brisk bot not to bad. I am going to wash the 72 Lincoln today and will drive it to church in the morning. I am sure there will be other classic cars at church in the morning. Most likely we will go out for lunch after church. I remember Easter Sunday from my childhood. The ladies with their hats and gloves and dressed in their new outfits. The children dressed in their new clothes and want to get home to get out of them and get into the yard clothes.
The Easter Egg hunt at the church and city park was always a great time for the kids and adults. Dad would take the grandkids to the farm for an egg hunt in one of the pastures. Then he would take them to see the new calves and let then name them. That didn't work out too well as the kids got older and wondered what happened to the calves from the year before. You didn't dare tell them they were sold at the cattle auction and went to market.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and sure to tell someone you love them.
