Good morning everyone. Ever since I was sick my blood sugar had been hard to manage. Now it is running high even with the insulin. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow for blood work and then I go back in a week for consultation. I spent yesterday outside building boxes for Sue's shipment and I cut the lawn for the first time this year. It is dry and so the mower was kicking up a lot of dust which was loaded with pollen. This morning I have the sniffles and a little more congestion.
Sue is doing well and is out with Dixie, Suzie and Lily. We are keeping Lily for the folks next door while they take a trip. Lily acts like she is at home while staying with us. Last night as I sat and watched television she and Dixie crawled into my lap and slept until bed time.
Sue just got back with the girls and Lily cane back with her instead of going home. She's smart and figures out when she is staying with us her folks are gone and we are her home until they get back.
Son Scott's dog Ollie was attacked by a German Shepherd Saturday. He had to have five staples in his shoulder where he was bitten and torn. Ollie was staying with Scott's mom out in the country near Waynesboro. This isn't the first time there has been trouble with that dog and I was told when the dog's owner goes off he lets the dog out of his pen to roam the neighborhood and fend for himself. George, Scott's step father shoot the German Shepherd with a 22 in the rear leg while he was attacking Ollie. The owner was notified of the incident so now it is wait and see what happens next.
