Good morning everyone. It is raining and cold this morning. Yesterday all the boxes were finished and the cylinders packed. They are on a pallet loaded on the utility trailer waiting to be banded and labeled. Hopefully the can be shipped Tuesday or Wednesday.
I switched dry food with the girls to Purina Pro Plan for dogs with sensitive stomachs. Both were having problems throwing up so Sue and I decided to see if a change would help. So far so good.
I miss Izzie a lot. He was such a steady rock in the house. He was always able to calm things down if it got too rowdy. All he had to do was sit and stare at whoever needed correction and they understood. Some times a paw was necessary, but not too often. I will never forget when the fur gang had enough of Peaches and they all attacked her, including Izzie. Sue had to pry Izzie off of Peaches that day. Never did know what started it, but poor Peaches was a nervous wreck for a few days.
When Hobo left for the Bridge Izzie missed her a lot. He took over Hobo's bedfor a while but eventually went back to his bed in front of the fireplace. Now that Izzie is gone Suzie has taken that bed as hers and she sleeps in Hobo's bed in our bedroom at night.
Dixie doesn't know the heritage she has stepped into and the role she has to fill. She is still a puppy and full of herself. She is really a love sponge and wants attention all the time. Suzie is tolerant of Dixie and has accepted her as a family member. They play together a lot especially in the mornings when they come in the house after being outside.
Sue is doing so much better. Right now she is out walking the girls. She is faithful about doing that every morning rain or shine, sleet or snow, warm or cold.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
