We're home and healing. I think next year we should wait until June to head north, it was 13 yesterday and we got about 1" of snow. Of course this time of year it melts by noon, but the only signs of spring around here are a few sprouts starting to show through the brown. I planted some chives last year and they are all coming up. It's a far cry from the pictures from Augusta and the blooming redbuds and dogwoods we saw on the way home.
This has been a long cold winter.
