Good morning everyone. Its Sunday, a time of worship and rest. Yesterday I mowed the lawn while Sue took care of planting some flowers she bought. The house next door is taking shape and its owner is there every day overseeing what is being done. He hopes to be moving in by the end of May.
Went to Allison and Jeff's yesterday to pick up a pressure washer. The swimming pool is finished and the new deck and stairs are finished that leads down to the pool. Their dog Hazel loves Sue and I so much that when we come she greets us with barking and whining almost as if we can understand dog talk. We do understand "I am so glad to see you. Where have you been?"
My right knee is giving me trouble and it is difficult to climb stairs. I have to take them one at a time by stepping up with my left foot and then put my right foot on the same step as my left foot and repeat the process until I reach the top. Not ready for knee surgery yet.
Sue's finger is healing and she is gradually getting the use of it. We finally got over the cold we had, Boy it took a month and then some to get well.
Suzie and Dixie are well. Suzie is slowing down as you would expect for a twelve year old while Dixie is gaining speed and energy. So far Suzie shows no signs of arthritics or stiffness in her joints. She eats well and is a happy little girl.
Our plans to go to Georgetown have been cancelled due to the weather. Winter is still hanging on so we will wait until it turns warm and stays that way.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
