Good morning everyone. Its raining here in the Deep South and the temperature is standing at fifty-four degrees. The fur gang is well an waiting for Sue to take them for a walk, don't think that is going to happen with the rain.
Today I turn another page in life. I feel good and glad to be alive and well. I was thinking yesterday what I have accomplished in this life and when you measure it up and look at it really doesn't amount to much. I have the love, respect and support of my family so I guess I have more than some folks.
I do have some regrets about my relationship with my Mom, Dad and brother. As a teenager and a young adult coming up I could have done a better job there. However when I went into the ministry I had the time and opportunity to set things right and I did.
All of that is water under the bridge and I hope when I am laid to rest folks can say 'There lies a Godly man." I really wonder sometimes if there is a place called Rainbow Bridge. In the Bible the scriptures say the Lion shall lay down with the lamb and the beast of the wild shall eat hay or stray, makes you wonder doesn't it?
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
