Good morning everyone. It is raining this morning and a cool sixty-eight degrees. Now that the lawn mower is repaired its going to rain the rest of the week so I can give it a good wok out by the weekend.
The tale of the lawn mower turned out to be like Lemony Snicket's tale of unfortunate events. As it turn out it was several things all coming together to make the perfect storm. However they were all simple to repair it just took a while to figure it out. First the ignition switch was destroyed by what ever was set on top of it which left the switch in a position as if it were turned on. Over time this drained the battery. Meanwhile my jumper battery pack was bad and would indicate it was fully charged ready to go when actually it was dead. After I put the ignition switch in the mower still won't start, putting the battery jumper to it would not even turn the hour meter on so that meant there must have been an open circuit somewhere in the electrical system. I checked all the safety switches which there are five of them and they were all good. The battery cables were all good so that carried me back at the battery. That is when I discovered my jumper was bad and the battery on the lawn mower was actually dead.
I got the jumper pack repaired and put the cable from that to the battery on the mower and it started. and I was able to finish cutting the lawn. Put the lawn mower battery on charge last night and now all is well. Now you know more than you ever wanted to know about the lawn mower tale.
Sue is walking out the door with Suzie and Dixie. Neither rain nor snow. neither cold or heat, neither light or darkness will keep Sue from walking the girls in the mornings.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
