Good morning everyone. Looks as if the thread is losing its following with very few posts. I guess folks have other interest and its understandable. After thirteen years its bound to lose some followers.
It rained yesterday and last night and the temps are so nice outside. Sue has gone with Dixie and Suzie for a walk. Its amazing how well Suzie is doing. At almost twelve years old she still has a lot of puppy left in her. Next month she will turn twelve and the first eight weeks of her life are uncertain except we know she and her sister were left at a dumpster in Burke County with nothing but a fish head and some water. Thanks to Mrs. Barnes who noticed them and called me to come rescue them. This was the first of many to be rescued by the Old Fella Burke County Animal Rescue.
Margie Riggs has done a great job keeping Old Fella alive and working to save the homeless animals of Burke County. They are still sending dogs and cats to New England where they find forever homes. That it the main source of adoptions for these homeless animals. I am so grateful that there is a place for them even if it is to the far North.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
