Good Morning FOOFs
I hope everyone had a great Memorial day weekend. We just got back from an 8 day trip to Navarre Beach. We came back a day early due to the tropical storm. I didn't want to drive the motorhome in high winds. We didn't get much rain from the storm in the Tampabay area but it was pretty windy yesterday afternoon.
Monty did pretty well on the drive. It was right at 500 miles coming home and he still gets antsy and pants a lot but he didn't do as bad this time. The other 3 dogs just sleep the whole trip.
Still trying to get a couple of issues fixed with the new motorhome. We have had a leak in the shower since new and I thought it was fixed. It's much better now but still have a small amount of water leaking after a shower. Hopefully one more trip to Camping World will fix it.
I did have another issue during the trip home. I had to clean a bunch of love bugs off the front of the motorhome when we got to Navarre Beach. I noticed that the front chrome pieces that are installed around the headlights seemed a little loose. They have always been that way so I didn't think much about it. During the trip, I heard a noise come from the front of the motorhome. I pulled over at the next rest area and the chrome piece on the passenger side was gone! The drivers side was loose and I was able to tighten it up. Thor is supposed to be sending me a new chrome piece so I will make sure it is secured better this time. With RVs it seems there is always something to fix or repair.
Coming back to work today was not fun but at least I was able to enjoy last week.
