Good morning everyone. Well Dan what can be said that might help? I can't think of a thing except bad things do happen to good people. I have a lot of pictures on photo bucket that I guess will stay there, don't know what else to do?
We had more rain late yesterday evening. The weather man says it is the last we will see for a while except maybe scattered afternoon thunder storms. The fur gang is well and waiting for Sue to take them for their morning walk. I was lazy this morning and didn't get up with Sue so after Sue felt I had laid around enough she let Dixie into the bedroom. Well that was enough to get me up and moving.
Suzie is showing her age as she slows down a little more, not as eager to get out and run with Dixie and Lily. She sleeps most of the day except for burst of energy when something is going on like the UPS, or Fed=X person comes to deliver packages. Just ring the door bell and no matter where Suzie is she will come charging to the door.
I cut grass yesterday and irritated my side so that I am in pain again this morning. Monday I guess I will find out what it is that is bothering me.
Sue is doing well, just full of energy and ready to face just about anything. She and I went to Belk yesterday and when we were leaving there was a woman in the parking lot fiddling with something under the hood of her van. Sue suggested that I might go over and see if I could help. She was putting water in the reservoir for the cooling system explaining that her son had hit a deer and damaged the cooling system and she had to put water in often to keep it from running hot. While talking to her I noticed she had a right rear tire going flat and it was the donut spare so she was on her last tire before she was walking. We took her to the Good year store just down the street and bought her a tire so she could get home. I have seen some worn out vehicles before but this one was as bad as I have seen.
We found out in talking with her that her husband had been a house painter in his own business and he died last year leaving her without much income as there was no retirement set aside. So sad to see something like this, just thankful that Sue and I did make arrangements for our retirement. We are debt free and in good health except for the few aches pain that come with old age.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
