Sue is well, however still having problems with new insulin. Insurance company switched both of us from Lantus to another drug called Tresiba because of the cost of Lantus. I am still using the Lantus because I had a good supply of it but now I am on the last pen so I will have to start using Tresiba. It is not working for Sue as she is having high blood sugar at night and has to get up and take Novolog to bring her blood sugar down.
Anyway that what is happening at our house and I wish everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
Richard, a lot of folks buy their prescriptions over the border in Los Algodonas, Mexico, just below Yuma. This little town is a haven for Snowbirds seeking medicines, glasses and Dental. It is a very safe area. The Border shuts down at midnight and reopens in the early morning. Mine are covered by Tricare, but if they weren't I too would be purchasing South of the Border. Some folks I know are stocking up on their Meds while in Yuma and they say it's a lot cheaper then the US even with their co-pays. You could ask about your Medicine cost on one of the RV Forums from others who use the same.
