Good morning everyone. Well it looks as if the Burke County Animal shelter has been put on hold. Just when it all looked so good it fell apart. The new director that was hired from Maryland suddenly resigned, pulled up stakes and left. Don't have any details yet as to what happened, just have to wait and see.
Meanwhile the Old Fella Burke County Animal Rescue keeps rolling along doing what it has always done, saving the homeless animals of Burke County. At last count they had over two hundred animals in foster care. Keep up the good work Margie, you are doing your best.
It is hot here in the Deep South. We need rain to cool things down and to keep the plants and grass green.
Sue and I are talking about going to Savannah sometime in July, depends on just how hot it gets and when the camper will be ready. Haven't heard from Camper World as to an estimate on repairs, I guess they will call when they have a quote.
