A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Good morning everyone. Frustration is my middle name right now. Dealing with the repairs to the camper and things around the house. This morning Sue and I were going to the landfill to get mulch I hooked up the utility trailer to the truck and discovered the wires going to the right rear tail light had been pulled off and broken. I had let the neighbor used it the last time it was out and that wass the way he brought it back. Happens more times than I would like to think. So Sue and I spent an hour rewiring the tail light. Stupid me I was trying to use one of those blue clips to put the wires back together and that shouldn't have been a big deal right? But I wasn't thinking straight and I was trying to hook both wires, turn signal and running lights into the same clip. I couldn't get it to work so I used black tape and put the wires together that way. Well it worked, but when I got home and looked at the clips I realized that you splice one wire and connect it with one clip and then connect the other wire together with another clip. In other words it takes two clips to make the connection for the way it is wired, Turn signal one wire, brake and running light the other wire. Okay so I have been challenged all day with small stuff that any three year old should know how to do,
