Good morning everyone. Yesterday was a productive day as far as yard work. Went to the landfill and got mulch and spread it around in the flower beds. Still have some on the trailer to spread today.
I hear from The Old Fella Burke County Animal Rescue and things have gotten worse. Since the director left things have come to a stand still on all fronts. No animal services, no shelter and the calls keep coming in for abandoned animals in Burke County. I understand Old Fella has close to two hundred dogs in foster homes through out the county with no relief in sight.
It seems as if the county commissioners either won't or not able to deal with the problem. I wish I still lived in Burke County so I could get a handle on things and push the commissioners into action.
Sue has gone for a walk with Suzie and Dixie. It is 72* out this morning, not bad for an early morning walk.
I hope everyone has a blessed weekend. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
