is thiis standard now when purchasing a new RV? Having issues right out of the gate.
So far we have had 7 things that needed fixed. The first one was before we even brought it home the first time.
Ours is still in the shop since we came home from Georgetown. Waiting to hear any day now that it is done.
I think it is. I frequent several RV sites and many people say they will not buy a new RV because of this reason. They say to buy a slightly used model because the original owner will have gotten all the issues fixed. I knew this going in but knowing it and then having to actually deal with it are two different things! If I add up all the time I have had the motorhome in for warranty work, it's probably added up to almost 3 months in the first year of ownership. Thor has been good about getting the parts to the dealership but most of these issues I have had could have been prevented from the factory.
