It ain't just the new ones - the dash AC went out on our unit. Travel with the large windshield when it 95* outside isn't comfortable...
Fortunately this unit was relatively trouble free from the get go. One trip to the factory (fortunately only about 150 miles away for us) for a slide out controller board that went out after about 5 cycles. Ten years of perfect function since.
