Good morning everyone. When we had the Motorhome in the summer we ran the house A/C with the generator when we were on the road. We also ran the A/C from the dash. It kept things pretty cool even on the hottest days. There are things I miss not having the motorhome, but we are satisfied with the F250 and Montana fifth wheel.
It is very humid outside this morning. The windows in the house have moisture on them from the A/C blowing. We turn down the A/C to 72* at night so we can sleep in a cool room. I like plenty of cover on me as a security blanket I guess. The cool also helps the fur babies sleep as well.
Yesterday was kind of a laid back day for Sue and I. I cleaned up the mess left from trimming the shrubs and burned the trash that was on the pile. The rest of the day we just stayed inside out of the heat.
I talked with daughter Robin last night and she told me she went to Waynesboro to visit her mom. She also told me she went to visit her uncle Troy Smith. Troy suffers from Alzheimer's and is in a home that can care for him. Troy is a year older than me and was such a great man. Alzheimer's is such a devastating disease. It is hard on family that has to watch a loved one go through it.
Sue is doing well along with the fur babies. Sue cooked a roast yesterday that wasn't fit to eat because it was too tough. You can buy a great looking piece of meat sometimes that fools you and this one did. So this morning the fur girls got a treat. Suzie was dancing around on her hind legs when she knew she was about to get roast beef for breakfast.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
