Good morning everyone. It is cool and cloudy this morning with rain in the forecast, Yesterday was very cool for July as the temperature hung around 76 all day. It is 69 degrees right now with low humidity,feels like Michigan weather.
Lily has livened things up. She and Dixie are enjoying each other's company. They play all morning chasing toys and each other throughout the house while Suzie watches from her perch on the couch. Suzie still smells like skunk but it's getting better.
Sue is well and sassy. I don't know where she gets all of her energy from, just wish I could bottle it and take some for myself. Son Scott called to tell me he was going to meet us in Savannah this weekend, looking forward to that.
Talk to Dan Healy yesterday and found out he got the camper back and looking for somewhere to go. Dan Branson got his camper back with all repairs done. He is looking forward to an outing with the new truck to experience pulling with a diesel.
Old fella Rescue sent more dogs to the Northeast Animal Shelter. Saw some pictures of the transport, so glad this is working out for them and the homeless animals of Burke County.
Sue is walking out the door with the fur gang, Lily is barking to make sure they all get out in order. She is so bossy, very much the alpha spirit. Suzie just lets her have her way knowing she is really the one in charge.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
