Good Morning FOOFs
We had some severe weather yesterday morning. It was really storming yesterday morning with a lot of lighting and heavy rain. We got a text from my father in law about 5:30am saying he was OK but a little shook up. He lives 2-3 miles down the road in a mobile home park. I thought to myself it was strange that a thunderstorm would shake him up as being in Florida we get these storms all summer long.
I stopped by he park on my way to work and I was shocked! It looked like a war zone. There was aluminum and insulation all over the place. Many roofs and car ports were ripped off several mobile homes. I couldn't get to my father on laws place because there were multiple power poles down with wires across the road. There is a workshop at the park that is not a mobile home. It's wood roof got completely ripped off and was laying in a new housing development next door to the park. It was definitely a tornado because you could see the path of destruction. It was only about a street over from my father in laws place. He was lucky as he didn't have any damage except for his TV antenna getting blown over.
I probably shouldn't say this but that last couple of trips with the motorhome have been problem free. We went up to Lazy Days resort over the weekend and had a nice time. The wife won a little money at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa. I tried not to pout too much after losing about $50.
I hope everyone has a great day!
