Finally got my Direct TV working in the 5er. Turns out there is to many connections to get constant power to portable dish to get a signal. I by passed all of that and it was working great. I then moved the power supply between the portable dish and the 5er and it was working good going through 5er wiring.
Now I need to be able to repeat all of this another day or when we are on the road.
I have been struggling with this since February. The winegard G2 plus appears to be very sensitive to voltage drop. Needs to hold more then 12 volts DC, anything before that it will not hold setting.
