Good morning everyone. Charles sounds as if someone turned the oven on high and forgot to turn it off. I have been watching the record heat you have been having and wondering if it was headed our way? So far this summer we have seen temps in the 90's a few days, but nothing like you have been having. So far this has been a wet summer with only a few days in the 90's. We have been blessed so far and for that I an grateful.
Right now the outside temp is 68 degrees, yesterday was in the lower 80's with rain showers in the afternoon. Everything is pretty and green outside and the corn stalks are about eight feet tall. The gardens are really producing so there are lots of okra, corn, tomatoes, and squash. No we don't have a garden but one of the neighbors has a garden every year and he shares with the neighborhood at a fair price.
Sue is out with the girls on their morning walk. Lily is still with us acting like we are her forever home, so bossy. Last nigh Lily got tired early so she went to bed early and slept all night. I wish I knew where her Lion King dog bed came from as I would buy her another one as she has just about worn this one out. She loves it so much, it is her prize possession.
I hope all is well with everyone this morning and Dan I am glad you got your satellite Tv working. Now you can enjoy the football games this fall while you travel. I still have ours but don't use it anymore as we don't have another receiver. When we cut the cable a few years ago all of that went back to Direct TV. When we got hooked back up we only got one receiver for the TV in the family room.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them,
