Just a quick update:
Thank you all for your prayers. Our day started at 9 a.m. and every hour was filled with another doctor/specialist until 4. As it was, we were held over numerous times and missed the last appointment completely. So we go back tomorrow for that.
There were three tests requested plus more bloodwork and we will have those on Monday and Tuesday so we are staying in Indy at the KOA till those are finished, then moving back to Elkhart on Wednesday.
Everyone we saw thought we were there for transplant consults. Hmmmmm. Must have missed that memo. They really had Terry strung out tighter than a tightrope leading up to today. Now maybe he will get some sleep. Not all heart failure requires that and the very first doctor told Terry in the first 5 minutes that he was too healthy to need one.
One doctor even tried to get the rest of the day cancelled for us since we didn't need the consults, but the coordinator insisted that they follow through in case he would need it in the future. Grrrrr.
Soooooo, overall we feel good about the day. No medications were changed yet, but after the test results, there may be some changes. One thing mentioned was the new drug Entresto.
So thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. Keep them coming please. We consider ourselves blessed.
