Richard, I know a lot about cancer and its diagnosis. If Sue is worried about cancer, tell her to ask her doctor to prescribe a PET scan or MRI. That will pick up anything in the body (except for really tiny lesions). With her family history and symptoms, it should be enough to satisfy the insurance. It can also pick up many other causes of back pain.
