Good morning everyone. Agteacher thanks for the good input. As I grow older I watch folks and fur babies with cancer and the outcome of their fight, Some win, some lose. Cancer doesn't seem to run in my family. Sue has lost two of her family to cancer. Her mom to ovarian cancer and her oldest brother to pancreatic cancer. I hope we don't ever experience that dreaded disease in any of our family members ever again.
We lost Old Fella, Charlie and Levi to cancer. Fella and Charlie had bone cancer and Levi's cancer must have started in his prostate and spread until it was pretty much all over his body. Never knew he was that sick until one morning he was passing blood in his urine. I took him in to see Dr. Alexandra and he made the diagnosis and remarked how bad it was. Poor thing was suffering for a long time and we never noticed.
This morning Sue left for the morning walk and left Suzie behind as she wanted to walk to the end of the street and on down to Fork Shoals Road. She felt it was a bit to far for Suzie especially at a fast pace. Suzie didn't understand when she was left behind, she didn't know Sue would be coming back for her and walk her also. Suzie stood by the door confused and disappointed, looking at me for an explanation. So I put on a light weight shirt and cap, my hair was a mess as I hadn't taken my shower yet and put a leash on her and we went for a walk. This made her happy and boosted her moral. Suzie is doing well in her old age and can still run like the wind when she sees something to chase, but she tires quickly which is to be expected, I tire easily also.
Tuesday I go to see a cardiologist for a check up, nothing going on that I am aware of, just a precautionary thing. My tooth ache turned out to be nothing the dentist could find a reason for so he put me on an antibiotic for just in case. This morning I feel fine.
Yesterday we went over to daughter Allison's house to lounge around in their new pool. It was an enjoyable afternoon just taking it easy. I think about the 64 Pontiac convertible but decided against it as we don't need to take on something that could turn into a money pit. How well do we both remember the 73 Lincoln and the money spent on it. Don't need anything like that in our lives right now.
It is cool this morning and was misting rain when Suzie and I went out for a walk. The forecast is for scattered showers today with a high of 85 degrees.
For those who have expressed a need for prayer I will continue to pray for you each morning, just let me know if there is any specific need that I should pray for other than the ones you have mentioned. Send me a PM if you want it to be confidential. I don't mind praying for any need you may have.
Okay I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
