Richard do you remember my post's about Andy? He was the Collie that had two major heart problems. Pulmonary stenosis and vsd. He was originally only given 6 months to live when born. I took him to K-State and they said 4 to 5 years at most. Surgery was only done in two places Houston Texas and Colorado with experimental surgery at a cost of close to 20k. I couldn't afford that and it was experimental. Andy lived to 10 years old before his heart condition forced me to euthanize him.
Anytime Andy would over exert himself he would pass out towards the end, even the 3 steps into the kitchen.
