A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

I have had Gracie groomed one time. I didn't like how they trimmed her and she didn't like being there. So, I do all her grooming now. She is really good about it, she lays on her back and lets me trim her nails. She really doesn't like it, but she is good about it. When I am going to bathe her, I always get out things like her shampoo and conditioner a day or so ahead and sneak out her dryer and brush when she is playing fetch with Art. She has very long very fine hair and I learned a trick that reduces the snarls in her hair. At the very end of her bath, I give her a quick spray off of cool water. the cool water reduces the snarls. Why? I have no clue, but it works. another trick I learned, when we go outside, when we come back in, I always brush her and after eating, I wash her face. Yorkies tend get wet faces when they drink and then her dry food can stick to that wet hair. Besides, I love to have her on my lap and in my arms.
