Good morning everyone. The low last night was in the mid 60's and yesterday was in the upper 80's. Today more or the same.
Rosie I had a 75 Vette, kept it for just a short time. That was back in the day when I and my family owned a Lincoln Mercury dealership in Augusta, Ga. It really didn't look good for me driving the competitions product, but it was a fun car. The lady already has someone interested in the car, but he thought he was going to buy it from her below market value and then I am sure he was going to resale it and make a bundle. Anyway after talking with me and looking on the internet she got an education on what the car was worth. Some times people will take advantage of folks if they don't have any idea what something is worth. There is a lady who works at Oxford Cleaners whose father had a 1932 Ford coupe with very low mileage just sitting in a barn. This was just a few years ago. It was all original and still in very good shape. She sold it for $1,500 before finding out what it was worth. When she asked me what I thought, after the fact she was sick over what she had done.
Anyway I love old cars as much as I love old dogs. I rescued a 1973 Lincoln four years ago that ended up costing me a bundle to get it up and running. I never had the intentions of spending the money I did on it, but it turned out to be a beautiful automobile. When I sold it I lost several thousand dollars but I had fun loosing it.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
