Good Morning FOOFs
I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. I spent most of yesterday at the Tampa Camping world. On our last trip with the motorhome, the dinette window was leaking during a very heavy rain. Also, when we were ready to leave, I couldn't get the dinette slide to come in. The slide would start to come in and then the back of the slide would stop and the front would continue for about an inch and then stop. We were finally able to get the slide to come in by inching in out and back in. It took about 20 minutes to finally get it totally retracted. Of course, it's just out of warranty now. They were supposed to get it done yesterday but didn't finish so we finally left around 4:30pm yesterday to head home. They called this morning and said it if fixed and ready to pick up. They resealed the window and installed a new slide motor. It cost $$$$ and will put a dent in the wallet.
The good news is we went to the hard rock casino for a couple of hours while waiting for the work to be done. The wife won enough money to pay for about 65-%70% of the repair bill. I don't know how she does it because all that place does is take my money. Hopefully we have all the bugs out of the motorhome now.
