Good morning everyone. I had rain yesterday, just in time to keep from turning on the sprinkler system. Looks as if the Gulf Coast is getting walloped with tropical storm Gordon. Love the ocean and beach, but it's times like this I am glad to be a land hugger.
Yesterday I finished dumping the waste water tanks in the camper. The hose was stuck fast to the outlet pipe and wouldn't turn loose. Finally after a few choice words and some jiggling it came off. However the part of the hose that hooks to the pipe came off the hose. It just presses on and swivels so I tried to press it back on and many later tries I finally got it back in place. However it was after I gave up and went into the house and got on the internet an ordered a new short sewer hose, go figure.
Dixie is so full of energy. She gets a toy each morning and begs for you to play with her, she is not to be denied. Suzie is doing fine, just laying around the house waiting for the door bell to ring or the UPS truck driver to pull into the yard then all of a sudden she comes to life.
Sue is doing well, getting ready to take a walk with the girls. Each day I look on Face Book and see a posting where a Burke County dog or puppy has been adopted. The North East Animal Shelter has done a great job finding homes for the Old Fella rescues. Old Fella Burke Animal Rescue is doing an amazing job in saving the lives of the unwanted companion animals of Burke County.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
