Richard their is a place called discount A/C that my mechanic recomended. I had to replace the A/C in a 06 Ford truck I had purchased. They recommend changing the condenser and drier at the same time as the compressor. My mechanic changed all three as well as well as new A/C lines. If there are any contaminates in the system it will take out the new compressor.
When you have a compressor failure and particles go through the system it is best to change those items mentioned. The compressor on the Lincoln is leaking freon so the compressor didn't come apart therefore it won't be necessary to change those parts
They will know by the head pressure on the high side if you have other issues.
