Good morning everyone. Hurricane Florence is making news as it makes its way to landfall. We are being told to expect heavy amounts of rain over the weekend. We don't live in a flood area so we should be safe. The wind could make things unsettled as it could cause damage from falling trees. WE have some large Pine trees in the yard, some of which could reach the house if they should fall. I closed the camper by bringing the slides in to lessen the area exposed to possible damage.
Our Pastor is passing out a list of our shut-ins for the deacons to stay in touch with during the storm. The next twenty four hours will be a time of caution and staying close to home.
Okay that's all from Camp Dixie this morning so I will close by wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. Remember those on the East Coast in the path of Hurricane Florence that there be no loss of life and that damage will be minimal.
