Good morning everyone. We survived Florence without any real threats. I don't know how much rain we got, don't think it was as much as predicted. Very little wind damage reported in our area. WE are still under a flash flood watch with river and creeks overflowing their banks. Parts of Interstate 40 are closed as well as a long stretch of Interstate 95 at the North Carolina South Carolina boarder.
The rain we got was mostly a slow soaking rain that lasted for two days. There were periods of heavy rain but didn't last that long. Today the temperature will be a high of 84 degrees and skies will be clearing.
The fur gang is well and waiting for a walk while Sue is getting ready to face the day. I am about to do the same. I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. I pray that those families that have been misplaced by hurricane Florence will be able to return home and resume their lives. I also pray that pets separated from their families are rejoined with them.
