Good morning everyone. Sue and I are looking forward to our trip to Ohio. This may well be the last time we get to see some of our friends. I'm getting up in age and this will be our last long trip. Sgt. Joe it would be nice to see you but we understand that it would be a long trip for you.
Dale we understand the loss of a pet and what a huge hole it leaves for a long time. Our Suzie is getting up there in age as she turned twelve last June. She is still getting around like a much younger dog and shows no sign of any pain or illness. She is still active and she eats good so we are hoping she will be with us for a long time yet to come.
Today will be one of those laid back days with not that much going on. I am going to put off mowing until Saturday. Nest week I need to get the oil changed on the truck and get ready for our trip. The camper is pretty much ready, just need to check the tire pressure and move it up to the house to load it.
The older I get the more I see how delicate life can be. It seems that there is always something going on with my body that is different from times past. Sometimes I wonder what will be going on next in the way I react to different things. I take pills to make me sleep, I drink coffee to keep me awake, I take pills to keep my blood pressure down, I take insulin to keep my blood sugar in balance, I take pills to keep my cholesterol in check, I take pills to keep my heart healthy, I take vitamins to help my body with its metabolism. Our home is a drug store.
Okay enough of that business I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
