Good morning everyone. The high today is supposed to be in the upper 70's, so we are beginning to see cooler weather. It's 70 degrees outside right now so it's nice out.
The fur gang has eaten breakfast, Suzie is on the couch while Dixie is following Sue with a toy in her mouth looking for some play time. They will be going for a walk in just a little while, I will be getting ready to face the day. Don't have much to do today so I guess it will be a day of leisure.
I have a handy man coming this after noon to replace the stoop on the rear garage door where it has rotted. Things don't last like they used to. The house is now eight years old and there are some areas that need attention.
The lady who had the 64 Corvette sold it last week, didn't get what she wanted but at least she got a fair price I think. Old Fella Burke County Animal Rescue is seeking more money from the county commissioners to help with spay and neuter. Things are still in limbo as far as building a shelter and taking care of the homeless animals of Burke County, nothing new I guess.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you live them.
