Good day to everyone. Just finished lunch, Sue fixed me a BLT, Well this is our last day in Berlin. Tomorrow morning we leave for Wytheville, Virginia. We will be saying goodbye to this section of Ohio as I don't think we will ever make our way back again. It has been fun and enjoyed looking at places we had visited before. The first time we came we had Levi and Suzie, how the family has changed over the years. Our last visit was in 2012. We left here and went to Michigan and then on to Montana to visit my first cousin who lives in the upper part of the state close to the Canadian border. That was a nice summer for us. We had Mama, Hobo, Peaches and Suzie with us. Some beautiful memories.
As we begin to close down this chapter of our lives I am grateful to have been able to travel as much as we have. I think this area is one of my favorites. Perhaps this will be the last time Sue and I will get to see some of our friends, who knows what the future holds for each of us? There has been some talk about gathering next October back in Sevierville, Tennessee, that would be nice for us and an easy trip if that could happen.
Time for us is closing some doors as I get up in age. Next April I will turn 78 years old if the Good Lord is willing. So I will see what lies in store as far as health is concerned, hopefully I will still be able to drive the bug rig and enjoy more camping with friends.
Just think of all that has happened on this thread over the last thirteen years. Many lives have been touched and lots of memories have been made. Friendships have been made and along the way we have lost some. Rainbow Bridge has claimed its share as well as those passing through to another life according to their faith.
Okay I am going to close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. I will post again when we get home until then safe travels to those on the road.
