Good Morning FOOFs
I hope everyone made it through the hurricane OK. Here in West Central Florida, we had some high tides about 3-4 feet above normal that flooded some ares on the coast but that was about it. The storm passed about 200 miles west of us so we were lucky. I have family in the Navarre Beach area and they made it OK. I drove through Mexico beach back in May and my wife commented on what a neat coastal town it was. It will never be the same with all the damage.
I am excited as we are going on a trip starting Friday afternoon. We are traveling to Jacksonville on Friday to stay the night at Flamingo Lake RV park. We stayed there last year during the Florida-Georgia football game. Then on Saturday we will head to Savannah for several days. We are staying at a neat place which is basically a RV park on a farm. It's called Red Gate RV park and it is only about a 10 minute drive from downtown Savannah. This is first week off I have had since May so I am looking forward to the time away from work (assuming they leave me alone). I work in IT so sometimes part of my vacations are spent on my computer working on something.
The fur kids are doing well. Monty continues to chase squirrels and I always hold my breath that he won't hurt his leg again.
I hope everyone has a great day!
