Good morning everyone. Thanks Dr. Doug and Sandy for registering early at Riverside in Sevierville, Tn. Its a year away and I am already excited about getting there again. The low this morning was fifty degrees but by the weekend we will be down in the thirties. The day time temps will still be in the upper sixties so it still nice outside.
Lizzie is making her presents known, she is into everything. Dixie found the cat's food yesterday so we had to put up the gate in the hallway to keep Dixie out of the cat's food.
Suzie is glad to be home. She is becoming such a homebody. This morning she got us up just as soon as it was daylight, She was ready to face the day dancing around barking. When I opened the door she shot outside and then waited for Dixie at the back steps so they could run out into the back yard together. It's good to be home and get ready for the Holidays. Thanksgiving is not that far away and then comes my favorite time of the year, I love Christmas. I guess that is the little boy that is still left in me. I love the sights, sounds and smell of Christmas. Sue always goes all out with the decorations in the house. Then there is the hanging of the lights on the outside, but once its all done it is very nice.
I guess you have figured out that Sue and I plan to keep the camper and truck for one more year. I still feel good about my driving ability and Sue's comments are good in that she is comfortable with my driving so I guess 77 years old is just a number and doesn't really man a thing about what skills you still have and the ability to do certain things. So we are looking forward to another year of on the road, but we will keep our trips to no more than two hundred miles one way.
Sue just left with the girls for their morning walk so I had better get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
