Good morning everyone. Dale, so glad that lily found a good forever home and hope it works out well for all concerned. Lily looks happy and a beautiful lady. Today started out on the cold side at 42 degrees but will warm up nicely by mid day. It rained hard yesterday starting early in the morning and lasting until late in the afternoon before the sun came out. When the sun went down in the evening the temperature dropped quickly into the lower 40's. The fire in the fireplace felt good. Suzie took up residents on the bed that Izzie used to sleep on when there was a fire going and stayed there until bed time.
This morning I went out to the camper and turned the oven pilot on so Sue could use it to prepare four turkey breasts for church Tuesday. It is the first time the oven has ever been on so I hope it works as it should. Sue will cook two in the oven in the house and two in the oven in the camper. We are hosting the Young at Heart group lunching at church Tuesday so we will feed about thirty five people.
The kitty is working out to be a nice addition to the family. Every once in a while Suzie will put her into high gear with a bark and a growl just to let her know who's boss, but I am sure that will change in time.
Yesterday we went to a funeral at the church. Mrs. Morgan was ninety three years old and live a great life. She was a retired nurse that worked in one place most of her career. Its hard to find someone who does that anymore because of the changing work place. Sue's dad work for Kelvinator which became American Motors for over forty years.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
