I am allowed to store the RV on my property, it just can't be in front of the house. It must be in back or the side of the house and it's not supposed to stick out past the front corner of the house. I live in the county and don't have a home owners association so I really only have county restrictions. Doesn't matter if you are on a small lot like mine or on 30 acres. I can't park the RV on the side of my house because it would be parked on the septic drain field. I am allowed to park in the driveway for 3 consecutive days once a month. I ended up putting the motor home back in my storage garage so I wouldn't have any issues.
Yes, Orlando has a bunch of toll roads. I have a sunpass sticker on the motorhome so I don't have to stop at the toll booths but since I will have multiple axles (towing the Jeep) it costs me more. It's only a couple of dollars to get around Orlando so it's worth it.
I hope traffic won't be too bad tomorrow. I thought my wife was going to be able to get out of work at noon tomorrow but now she is telling me 2pm. I was hoping to be driving through Orlando by 2pm. Now it will be around 3:30 or so. Oh well, it is what it is. I know many don't like traveling during holidays but with both of us working full time, we like to take advantage of the long holiday weekends to take trips. I only get 3 weeks vacation a year and those days sure do seem to get used up fast.
