I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We are having a good time at Jetty Park. It usually takes us about 2 1/2 hours to get here but the traffic was thick on Wednesday afternoon. It took us a little over 3 hours but made it safe. We didn't leave the park yesterday and just enjoyed the weather and the beach. Donna likes the water over on this coast since it is always cooler than on the gulf coast. We had planned to take the Victory Casino Cruise today but they canceled due to high surf. It's windy here today and it's forecast to have 9-10' seas. Hopefully the seas will die down tomorrow and we will be able to go before we head home on Sunday morning.
We will probably go to Ron Jons surf shop today. It's a huge store and it fun to wonder around for awhile. Then we will go get something to eat for lunch. I really like this area of Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach. If Donna ever wins the lottery I'd like to live here. Just a really quaint area and not all built up and commercialized like some coastal areas. It has a small town feel to it.
Here are a few pictures.

These are some sites right on the shipping channel. They only have water hookups (no electric or sewer) so I have never reserved any of these sites but they have a great view of the port.

A cruise ship going out the channel. You can walk down to the channel and take a chair and watch all the boats come in and out. This picture was taken from our site.

Murphy taking a nap. She was full of it yesterday and finally got tired.
