Good morning everyone. We got a lot of sleet and then some snow. Last night it snowed all night, but it wasn't a heavy snow. more like a sprinkling. The temperature was above freezing all night and it will be above freezing all day with a chance of rain so maybe what is on the ground will melt. The low tonight will be about 26* so we will have black ice tomorrow morning.
I burned most of the firewood I brought up to the house so I will have to make a trip to the wood pile and find some dry wood and bring it up to the house so we can have a fire in the fireplace today.
The fur babies are well and waiting for a walk. Sue has more energy than I do and she takes to the cold better than I do so she volunteers to do this every morning. I think she looks forward to it as she really likes the cold weather. You know she is a Michigan girl so she was raised in a cold climate and used to it.
The Browns beat the Carolina Panthers yesterday, so it looks as if the Browns are going to have a better chance next year at being a contender for the playoffs.
Christmas is just fifteen days away. I haven't done any shopping at all. Sue wanted me to take her shopping for Christmas so I think I will do that instead of buying something and hoping she likes it.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
