Good morning everyone. Yesterday was a day of adventure. I went out to the well to place a drop light under the fiberglass cover to keep the pressure valve from freezing with the very cold weather coming in. When I lifted the cover it pushed against one of the tanks which moved and broke a waterline. Had to cut off the power to the well and repair the pcv pipe which took about two hours.
Yesterday afternoon Sue and I went to get firewood so we had a fire last night. The outside temperature this morning was 25*, tomorrow night is supposed to be colder.
Still no sign of the stray. I hope he is staying warm these cold nights. Today I will haul more wood up to the house as it is going to be a cold day today. Tomorrow we will have a chance of snow late in the day lasting through Sunday morning.
The camper is prepared for the cold weather as I have drained all the water lines and have heat inside to keep things from freezing in there. I sometimes go out to the camper and watch TV for a few hours because it is nice and warm inside.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
