Good morning everyone. It's 45 degrees here in the Deep South but just above us in Western North Carolina it's much colder and snowing. Our high today will be in the upper 40's so I will be snuggling by the fire today, glad I got more firewood.
I found out yesterday Ronnie Hayslip passed away. He was my boss at Life Of Georgia for many years until I retired. Ronnie was a good guy. I got reconnected with Andy Tipaldos who was a district manager with Life Of Georgia for many years until Life Of Georgia was sold off sometime around 2009. Andy always took care of me whenever we went on the President Club trips. On one trip to Hawaii he met Sue and I at the airport and gave me money out of his pocket and told me I had one of the best rooms at the hotel and all of our expenses were taken care of. He gave us a rental car while we were there and all of our outings, such as golf and tours and meals were paid for. We drove on the road to Hanna, that was an experience. Those were some very good years.
Andy was surprised to learn about the 72 Lincoln and it's connection with Arnold Palmer. Time flies when you are having fun. We learned this week son in law Jeff's father Dan has some serious heart problems and will require surgery. He also has kidney problems that has to be dealt with before the heart surgery can happen so Dan McMillan needs our prayers.
Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
