Good morning everyone and a happy first day of Spring. Yesterday we learned that Otis Forrest our pianist at church has stage four cancer in his liver and spleen. He had part of his colon removed a few months ago due to cancer and now this. Otis has many awards during his career as a musician. He has some Grammy rewards and other recognitions and is well known in the Nashville circuit. He is so talented and what a blessing he is to our church. Please pray for Otis and his family during this time.
Well its cold here in the Deep South this morning as it was 39 degrees when the sun came up. Did someone say it is Spring? I talked with our neighbors who bought the new camper and they are excited about hitting the road. Judy will be the driver while Dr. Bill rides shotgun. Dr. Bill is 81 years old while Judy is fifteen years his junior. She is used to pulling horse trailers so she does have some background in towing. They have a new Ford F150 as their tow vehicle with all the bells and whistles on it. The truck is equipped with sway control so yesterday they were out getting the truck calibrated to the trailer. Their first trip will be to Brunswick, Georgia to visit Dr. Bill's old home place.
Today I don't have much on my plate. I get a haircut at eleven this morning and then back home. The fur gang is wel, Dixie is running through the house with a ball in her mouth wanting someone to play with her and now Sue has said the magic words, "Let's go".
Okay I have to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone yo love them.
