Met with the surgeon today. He could not get the ligament to move. Suggested we keep her calm for the next six weeks to let the scar tissue strengthen to hold ligament in place.
Gave us traxodone to keep her relaxed so she does not jump and get excited. We will just give her that when we know that will happen.
He said short walking to do her business will be OK.
He said this his first case that he could not get the ligament to move after being diagnosed.
He did say he felt hard tissue around the ankle are and the Achilles.
After we got home from the clinic Pickles appears to be hurting.
The Vet really worked on her leg and I think she is feeling pain and discomfort from that. She will only take few steps and then stop.
